Volunteers Wanted

Purpose of this Role:

As a member of our Board, you will gain valuable personal and professional experience. You will be involved in:

  • Making strategic decisions on behalf of members.
  • Risk & Compliance.
  • Financial decisions in relation to investments.
  • Corporate governance to ensure compliance with Central Bank regulations and legislation.

Time Commitment

You should be available for at least 15 to 20 hours per month. This would involve attending monthly board meetings and being active on a board sub-committee/s.

Support & Training

Full Training and mentoring will be provided.

Note, our Nomination Committee must carry out a Fitness & Probity review of all Applicants. Al suitable applicants can be either new or existing members of Finglas Credit Union Limited. Where applicants are success, they will be initially co-opted onto the board. Thereafter, they will present themselves for formal election by the membership, at the next immediate AGM.
